Bryan Beck received his Associates in Fine Arts from Salem Community College under the instruction of master glass workers Paul Stankard and Anna Boothe. Afterwards he received his undergraduate degree in glassblowing from Jacksonville University and went on to work in one of the United States oldest glass art factories, Kokomo Opalescent Glass. In his time as one of only three production glassblowers in a high functioning studio he became very familiar with equipment and maintenance. He recently received his Masters of Fine Art in Glass at Southern Illinois University Carbondale while working as a graduate assistant as glass studio technician as well as a gallery attendant at the University Museum.
Bryan is currently the owner and operator of both Blazing Paddles Studio and stARTup Studios in Downtown Macon, GA.
